{"id":1939,"date":"2015-06-16T10:45:21","date_gmt":"2015-06-16T08:45:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/?p=1939"},"modified":"2015-06-16T10:45:21","modified_gmt":"2015-06-16T08:45:21","slug":"lokwelt-freilassing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/?p=1939","title":{"rendered":"lokwelt freilassing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>vistiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lokwelt_Freilassing\"><em><strong>lokwelt<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in <em>freilassing<\/em>\u00a0happened a little bit per accident &#8211;\u00a0during a short visit of my wife in <strong>salzburg<\/strong> i picked up a parcel at <em>LogoiX<\/em> (which offers very useful postal services eg. a german mail address for austrian citizens) and fell across a sign pointing me to the <em>lokwelt<\/em>. having had enough time and showing a passion for old trains\u00a0\u00a0i was curious enough to give them a short stop and haven&#8217;t been disappointed.<br \/>\nonce a very important railway station during the past century &#8211; even for the railway station of <em>salzburg<\/em> &#8211;\u00a0<em>freilassing&#8217;s<\/em> station\u00a0lost\u00a0function year by year\u00a0and finally was closed in 1998 through the <em>DB<\/em> (<em>deutsche bahn<\/em> = german railway). luckily the beautiful engine shed was put under monument protection and got refurbished by the local railway association, now hosting a museum with several lovely (steam) trains. you can\u00a0find a short list of\u00a0all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lokwelt.freilassing.de\/modules\/sites.php?site_nr=000006\"><em><strong>exhibits<\/strong><\/em><\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lokwelt.freilassing.de\"><em><strong>homepage<\/strong><\/em><\/a> of the <em>lokwelt<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>the stop of an old steam train during my visit in the museum was a nice extra bonus and i could watch the 360\u00b0-turning platform in action :)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1906\" src=\"http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev-1920x817.jpg\" alt=\"rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev\" width=\"690\" height=\"294\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev.jpg 1920w, http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev-300x128.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev-575x245.jpg 575w, http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev-800x340.jpg 800w, http:\/\/www.refro.at\/refroto\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rf_20141213_DSCF8520.RAF_LR_dev-850x362.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>although i never felt &#8220;being out of light&#8221; inside the engine shed, my x-pro 1 &amp; e-1 really had to struggle in terms of iso-sensitivity. having had &#8220;auto-iso&#8221;\u00a0enabled resulted in many pictures with iso 3200 and 6400 &#8211;
